Jesus Enables You To Become Righteous In God

"God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God." 2 Corinthians 5:21.

What is your position in God if you are a believer and you belong to the Lord Jesus? The Lord Jesus has given you a position to come boldly to the throne of grace and have communion with God again. If you see in the Old Testament, only the high priest, only once in a year would enter in behind the veil of the Holy of Holies and stand before God. The high priest would sprinkle blood on the mercy seat in order to receive forgiveness for the sins of the people. But today Jesus has given us the position as sons and daughters of God and we can anytime come into God's presence and have communion with God.

How can we obtain this position? You and I are able to have communion with God again not because of our good works! But is it purely because of God’s grace; the undeserved, unmerited and unearned favor of God. The Lord Jesus through His work of redemption made us the righteousness of God. You and I can't earn to become a righteous in God based on our own works. It is a gift of God and it is the approval of God.

God had to pay a big price to give us this position. He had to sacrifice His only beloved Son, the Lord Jesus Christ on the Cross of Calvary. The Bible says, "God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God." 2 Corinthians 5:21. Jesus gave His place of righteousness to you and He willingly and lovingly took all your sin and the punishment on Himself.

Today you are free from any kind of guilt and condemnation because of the Lord Jesus alone. Stop looking at yourself as a sinner but look at yourself as a righteous of God. All your sins and mistakes have been forgiven by the precious blood of Jesus. If you keep on seeing yourself as a sinner, you are not honoring what He has done for you. Don't let the enemy deceive you by reminding you of your sins and past mistakes. It's over through the finished work of our Lord Jesus Christ on the Cross of Calvary. You are forgiven and you are a righteous in God.
