In His Time

"He has made everything beautiful in its time." Ecclesiastes 3:11

Few days ago after finished my jogging I was walking in the park that I usually jog in. I was walking and also talking to Him. I was telling and asking Him about something very precious in my heart. He knows that I really wanted to hear from Him about my heart’s desire and this time He spoke to me in a different wonderful way.

He brought my attention to a beautiful tree blooming with beautiful white color flowers. When I looked at that tree, deep inside my heart I heard the Lord said, “I made these beautiful flowers to bloom in its season.” And He continued by saying, “Likewise, I will make all things beautiful in your life in its time.” The moment I heard what the Lord says, I remember Ecclesiastes 3:11 “He has made everything beautiful in its time." It’s always wonderful to hear Him speaking.

To tell you the truth, waiting is not something nice for many of us. Some will start to complain, some will worry and there are also some who will run ahead of God and get themselves into troubles. God is never too late or too early in accomplishing whatever He wants to do in each one of our lives. He controls everything according to His infinite wisdom.

He knows every single thing about us and nothing is hidden from the ONE who created you and me. The hidden desires and interest in your heart is not hidden from His eyes. Men may be surprised to hear your heart's desires but for Him it is not a surprise at all. He created you! How can even a small thing of His own loving hand's creation slip through His careful eyes? He knows what are you thinking, He knows what are you going to say a minute from now, He knows the one special desire of your heart that you did not tell anyone.

God is even more interested than you about your heart's desires and if your heart’s desire is aligned with His will and purposes, He will to do more than what you could think or even imagine, "Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is working within us." Ephesians 3:20. And without you realizing, He is working in you to bring into fulfillment everything that He wants to fulfill in your life.

Timing belongs to the Almighty God alone. We have to wait patiently for God's perfect timing. If we run ahead of God, we might end up doing the things that we should not do. Your waiting period could be a moment or season for God to prepare you. Don't rush but allow God to help you to move in His beautiful timing. God will make all things beautiful in His timing if those things are aligned with His will and purposes in your life.

The Living Word of God

"He sent forth his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave." Psalms 107:20

I believe in your Christian walk you have heard that the Bible is often mentioned as, "The Living Word of God". Have you ever thought why the Bible is mentioned as The Living Word of God? The Bible is actually the breath of God, His very spoken word. God's Word contains a supernatural power above anything. And there is life in God's Word; that's why the Bible is often mentioned or described as the Living Word of God. One word from the Lord is able to change your whole life and circumstances.

Let me tell you a story from the Bible, in Matthew 8:5-13. When the Lord Jesus arrived in Capernaum, a Roman officer came and pleaded with him, "Lord, my young servant lies in bed, paralyzed and racked with pain." Jesus said, "I will come and heal him." Matthew 8:6-7. Then the officer said, "Lord, I am not worthy to have you come into my home. Just say the word from where you are, and my servant will be healed! Matthew8:8. When the Lord heard this, He was amazed. Then the Lord Jesus said to the Roman officer, "Go on home. What you have believed has happened." And the young servant was healed that same hour. Matthew 8:13.

What really happened in that story? The Lord didn't go to the Roman officer's house to heal the sick servant. But the sick servant was healed by the Word of the Lord Jesus Christ, "Just say the word from where You are, and my servant will be healed! Mathew 8:8. Besides that, the Lord declared and approved the servant's healing by His spoken word, "Go on home. What you have believed has happened." Matthew 8:13. In other words, the Lord has done exactly what was written in the book of Psalms, "He sent forth his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave." Psalms 107:20.

See carefully the first part of the word "He sent forth his word and healed them". The Bible didn't say, "He sent forth his healing minister and healed them" or "He sent forth the church leaders and healed them" but the Bible says it is through His spoken Word that He heals and changes all situations.

Dearest, your healing and answer for your circumstances are in the Scriptures or in His very spoken word. If your child is ill, lay your hand on them and proclaim God's Word about healing in their lives. When you face life's difficulties, don't go around looking for a solution but go back to His word and proclaim His spoken Word over your situation. All you need is His spoken Word! One word from the Lord is able to change your whole life and circumstances. Read His word, be in His word and establish yourself in the Word of God.
